A New Year


This year flew by. Reflecting on the things I was able to do and the places I got to see. It was a very eventfull year. The persuit of glass has given me these experiences without it I would probably rarely leave Santa Cruz.


Niche Award finalist in february,

tutorial in the flow magazine in the spring.

19 retail shows,

1 wholesale show,

5 Gallery shows

visited Paul Stankard at his studio in N.J.

went to New York-Metropolitan Museum Of Art

visited Corning Museum Of Glass

Surfed all over florida and south texas including Sebastian Inlet and South Padre Island

Fished in Connecticut where I caught several 15" rainbow trout

saw my first river beaver

took Kayaks down the rapids in Connecticut.

Saw an aligator in louisiana

went thru a set of tires on my travel trailer

Pitted in Houston at Lamb Of God Show

Had Pizza In Manhattan

Survived multiple tornado warnings and violent thunderstorms

had some of my best and worst shows ever

Sold my most expensive sculpture to date $4,000

towed my travel trailer in the snow

Blew glass in florida and texas

drove my truck thru Manhattan

Did a commission for Jamie Wyeth the son of Andrew Wyeth

saw one of my sculptures sitting on display right next to an Andy warhol in a collectors home

drove over 15,000 miles towing my portable house behind
